- Check the advertisements in any of the Amiga magazines.
-
- Amiga OS v3.1 AS320 $130
- DKB MegAChip 2MB Agnus $200
- DataFlyer 500 SCSI interface $170
- CSA Derringer 68030 50MHz $400
- 250 watt power supply $70
- biggest hard drive you can afford :)
-
- I didn't list all the options available, nor the best prices possible.
- This is just a quick scan through Amiga Computing. Depending upon how
- much you are willing to spend, you can either upgrade the 500 and be
- content for a year or two, or buy a newer machine. Don't expect any
- investment in the 500 to have any resale value.
-
- For me, upgrading my 500 has been fun and rewarding. When the Power
- Amiga is released, I'll add it to my computer collection. But I won't
- abandon my 500.
